One of the architects of the successful Leave campaign, Ms Bilney will be giving a talk on her organisation, the aftermath of the Leave vote, and perceptions of the EU among the student population.
In their own words, Leave.EU "played a decisive role in the British public’s historic vote to leave the EU on June 23rd", and was one of two national campaigns on the Leave side of the referendum. Founded by Arron Banks and Richard Tice in 2015, Leave.EU claimed over 500,000 members at its peak and received a public endorsement from Nigel Farage.
Whether you supported one of the Leave campaigns, you were a Remainer, or you were undecided, the talk and Q&A should provide a valuable insight into the success of euroscepticism and the direction of contemporary politics.
Ms Bilney will be accompanied by researchers on her visit.
